Duckling Farmers!

We have had the most amazing day today! We worked very hard as farmers to collect eggs and to feed and look after the animals. The children had such fun and were a credit to Portway!

Fun at the Farm!

Gosling Class had an awesome day at the farm today! We have been so busy being farmers and feeding all the animals we nearly didn’t have time for our own lunch!
The children were really well behaved and they were a credit to Portway. Well done Gosling Class.

Cygnet Class Farmers!

We had a fantastic time at the farm today. We all got to be farmers and met lots of different animals. Have a look at all of the amazing things we have been up to! The children behaved beautifully and were a credit to Portway!

Space Art!

This term we were inspired to create our own lunar-themed art by the work of Christopher Badger. He created a Phases of the Moon piece and we used this as a starting point to experiment with circles. We found lots of different ways to represent his ideas in our work and enjoyed cutting and sticking the circles onto the black paper! We then created our own 3D moonscapes by layering newspaper onto plastic to make craters then covering in tinfoil. We used our art work as a small world and our class astronauts played on the rocky surface so our art came in very useful! We have loved art this term and want to say a big thank you to Mrs Vignaux for finding this super artist for us!
